It is a humanitarian act. In Algeria, there are tens of charity associations, which help the poor people, the orphans, the elderly, the homeless, the disabled and the weak. It is very important to do charity works because it increases solidarity and love among the citizens. Most of the young Algerian citizens practise at least a type of charity; some donate money, food and clothes to the associations whereas others prefer to help their relatives or neighbours DVLWLVVDLG³&KDULW\EHJLQVDWKRPH´ In fact, there are many charitable organizations which do volunteering charities in our society like ³7KHOJHULDQ5HG&UHVFHQW´, ³1HVV(O.KLU´³.DILO(O<DWHHP´DQG³(O\HGIHO (O\HG´ZKLFKEURXJKWMR\WRWKHKHDUWs of needy families through the way of donation. Other example of the youth charities is ³7KH OJHULDQ 0XVOLP 6FRXWV´ which organizes a yearly ³7DEOHRI,IWDU´DOODURXQG$OJHULDLQWKHVDFUHGPRQWKRI³5DPDGDQ´ However, to be charitable and be one of the white hands of donors, there are many other recommended activities such as: cleaning mosques and cemeteries, donating blood, visiting the VLFNHQHGSHRSOHLQKRVSLWDOV«HWF 7RFRQFOXGHFKDULW\SOD\VDQLPSRUWDQWUROHDQGKDVDJUHDWLPSDFWLQFRPPXQLW\¶VOife. It strengthens the ties and the social bonds between people, removes enmity and creates fellow feeling and brotherly affection.
